HIGH Arek, A quick question for you, Do you notice that these two pests usually show up together to cause problems? It seems to me that it is either mites by themselves or these two. Hmmm, thanks for your time. PS. I tried your product called FINISHER that you sold me and WOW, a very noticible difference. Cheers, H&D

Hi

It's possible that would show up together since they both have larvae that need to live in the grow medium before they emerge as adults.

Also you have to remember that your grow medium, although its been sterilized and should be pathogen free, has taken quite the trip to get to the store. Anywhere in between the store and the production site the medium could catch bugs/eggs/larvae.

You will see this more with peat based mediums like ProMix/Sunshine since a lot of the bags contain moisture especially in Winter, Fall and Spring.

You should not see this in Rockwool, Hydroton(Expanded clay) and Coco bricks. These mediums are very dry and any bug larvae "probably" wouldn't survive for too long.

Indoor gardens are ultimate breeding grounds for bugs once they get established. You have plants which are the food, you have very clean mediums for the bugs to grow in and you have 0 natural predators.
This makes the bugs grow out of control very quickly.

If you have both thrips and fungus gnats you should consider using Insect Stop or any of the other Diatomaceous earth products although you should wear a dust mask as the powder can get into your lungs and since its very sharp can cause lung damage if breathed in.

As for Finisher, well I sell quite a bit of it to repeat customers so the product seems to be working pretty good.
