Hello, i was looking for a metal halide bulb and ballast package, maybe with a white reflective shade as well. I havent been to the actual store yet. but i was hoping that i could be sure before i make the journey. the wattage im looking for is 400 but i will settle with a 600w setup[ as well. price range please? and please dont hesitate to throw in your own personal advice for a vegitation stage bulb that might work better.

A 400W MH System will be price as following
A ballast all wired up ready to be plugged in with a reflector would go for around $200 after taxes (give or take some depending on the reflector/light bulb)
A 600W system would probably be an extra $80 as the 600W veg bulbs are more expensive.
I personally have no preference for the 400W MH bulbs as just a regular Sylvania one will do just fine.
You could go with a 400WMH Hortilux Blue bulb but for the price difference I don't think it'll be worth it. The bulb does grow good but I'll be at least a $120 more and if you have power to spare you could just add a couple of 6400K T5 fluorescent bulbs and probably get similar results.
