Hi everyone, I was thinking of buying 2 volksgardens and putting them side by side. I just wanted some your thoughts and opinions from people who have used rotating gardens and how much they yielded with 600 and 1000 watters. Im assuming Id get the same yield with 2 volksgardens as I would 1 full size omega. Should I use 1000 watt lights or 600 watts(afraid of light poisoning)?

Hi Well I can tell you right
Hi
Well I can tell you right of the bat that in the wheel gardens it all depends on the strain of your plant. Some strains/species just don't like being put into the garden untill they are already certain size (Say 6-8" tall)
That's why quite a few people will veg (18 hours of light) the plants on a 4/8 or 3/6 flood and drain table and then when the plants are ready to be put into the flowering stage they are put into the wheel garden.
I've also seen people do good with the plants vegged in the wheels but they did the following. Veg under 400/600W MH bulbs and then switch to 1000W HPS when they plants start flowers. You don't want to introduce young plants to 1000W right away as the bulbs are too close and the plants will be stressed out for at least a week.
I also seen a couple of people wrap shade cloth (Not plastic) around the glass tube and unwrap one layer every few days to get the young plants used to the 1000w lights.
I've also had some customers use 600W lights in the 1000W system.
Yield wise will depend on your stain and how you start the plants. I've seen customer get up to 5 lb's with one kind of a plant and when they switched to a different strain more popular stain of the plant, they got less the half.
The other thing is that you don't want to put in the maximum amount of plants that the wheel can hold. In the 1000W wheel people do better with around 180/240 plant then people who fill them up with 360 plants.
The other system to consider if you haven't already bought the Volks garden is the EcoSystem which does not spin and the plants are grow vertically.
Here's a video of it
